So I'm learning things that irritate me quite a bit. One of them the constant badgering of celebrities, and especially the ones that the younger population follows. Who could be a more perfect example than Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus?
Now, I'm not advocating for either of them, as I prefer non-winey, non-prepubescent music myself, but the constant rumors and photoshopped pictures posted on Facebook really get on my nerves. Sure, half the female (and an almost equal amount of male) teenage population has some sort of frightening obsession with the "musical prodigy" that is Justin Bieber, but that doesn't mean it's okay to clog up everyone's News Feed on Facebook. People like me, and a vast majority of my friends, find this singer quite irritating and not very talented at all, but we don't post these opinions every two minutes. I mean, I know there's an option to "hide" someone or something, and believe me, I've done that, too. But after a while, people just get fed up with it. I mean, it's bad enough that you're picking on these artists who are making something of themselves, but you're also posting it on a social network, and all it really gets you is a lot of frustrated people.
The world is full of people who are all very different, and it makes me want to rip hair out when no one respects a wonderful thing called individuality.
