Should Have Said No--Prologue

So I'm writing a book, and I'll post the chapters here and maybe people will read it...

Prologue

I never thought that I would have a story like this to tell. Actually, I never thought that I would ever have much of a story to tell at all. I’m just the average student struggling through the brutality of high school. I’m not even average, to be honest. I classify myself as highly below average. My lack of breasts, blonde hair, and long legs, and my love of books and music make me completely invisible to the male population. I don’t even think the female population is aware of my existence at this school. I can’t even tell you how many times I have been marked absent when I’ve been sitting right in front of the teacher. That’s just how invisible I am here. So the fact that something like this happened to someone like me probable sounds completely unbelievable. But trust me, this is all true. I’ve never been much of a liar.
Like most stories, this one starts with a boy. Collin Michaelson is the captain of the football team. He’s some sort of Greek God football prodigy or something. Just about every college in the United States is practically begging for him to attend their school. He’s even been offered a contract with the NFL, which- for some insane reason-he humbly declined. And while all this prodigal business is going on, every human being with estrogen in their body spends her time lusting after him. His ice blue eyes, bronze skin, thick blond hair, and totally hot bod easily make him the most desired man on the facility. He is the star of every fantasy within the minds of every female in the school.
Including me. I guess that’s where all the trouble started.
